We need to pay off the loan as soon as possible so that we minimise the amount of interest paid. Renovations are also required to set up a functional temple space before we can move Sri Sri Gaura Nitai there.

About the Property
The property is a church already zoned as a place of worship, located at 6 & 8 Lee Rd, Darra, and just a 3-minute walk from the train station. It was purchased for $1.7 million, which was financed with a $1.4 million loan as well as donations that were previously given for the new temple project.

Our goal is to move Sri Sri Gaura Nitai to the new temple by Gaura Purnima 2025. We can’t achieve this without your support. Some of the major tasks to be completed before then include:
- Finalise renovation plans including temple layout
- Submit DA application
- Complete tender process
- Complete stage 1 renovation
- Apply for any relevant state, federal and other grants
