preparing for Sri Sri Gaura Nitai's

Move to the New Temple

As announced at the beginning of 2026, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai’s new Temple will be opening on Saturday 28th February 2026! Significant renovations have been undertaken for several months with a team of hardworking devotees leading this project. The renovations are in their final stages of completion with planning of the grand opening well underway.

new address: 8 Lee Rd, Darra

About the Property

The property was a church and is zoned as a place of worship. It is just a 3-minute walk from the Darra train station, providing essential connectivity for the community & visitors. It was purchased for $1.7 million, which was financed with a $1.4 million loan as well as donations from the community. This loan has since been repaid with proceeds from the sale of another property, and support from the community has helped get the renovations to this stage.

Looking Ahead

We could not have achieved this without your support & we look forward to the future growth in this same spirit.

Once the deities have moved to the new temple, the next steps will be to work on expanding the facilities which includes building a new and larger temple hall, subject to funding and council approval. If you have any questions please contact us at
