WHAT IS JANMASTAMI?

An annual highlight of our cultural calendar, Janmastami celebrates the Appearance of Lord Krishna, the
Supreme Personality of Godhead!

This festival is celebrated worldwide with great devotion. On this day, you will find that temples around the globe are decorated and devotees come in large numbers to rejoice.

The celebrations at ISKCON Brisbane include a variety of ceremonies, performances and activities for all.

As Brisbane’s largest host of the festival, each year we accommodate over 4,000 guests including prominent leaders and
esteemed guests from various communities and faiths.
